In 2008, CBC Radio’s annual showcase of great Canadian fiction, Canada Reads, named ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation their charity of choice for the second time.

With Canada Reads, five celebrity panelists make the case of why their favourite Canadian fiction should be chosen as the Canadian book. The program aired from February 25-29, 2008 on CBC Radio One. PGI Golf Tournaments for Literacy

The PGI Golf Tournaments for Literacy is a fundraising event like no other. With at least one PGI in every Canadian province and territory, the reach far exceeds that of any other literacy event.
