In Saskatchewan, the PGI Golf Tournament for Literacy Is a wonderful event that brings golfing and literacy together, adding an extra mix of laughter and great times. The PGI Saskatchewan isn’t just about playing golf and raising funds for literacy. It also provides an opportunity to enhance the awareness of the value of literacy for individuals in the community. The PGI Saskatchewan is hosted by READ Saskatoon.

The event begins the evening before with the Celebrity Auction for Literacy. Local celebrities give their time and talent to make up wonderful packages that are auctioned to the golfers and other guests. A silent auction is also part of the evening.

The next morning, the golfers begin with a light breakfast and then set out on their exhilarating golf day. Following golf, an early dinner is served, and golfers are treated to a short program highlighted by The Co-operators Learner Achievement Awards which includes a presentation to an especially deserving adult learner, the Gzowski Awards for golfer spirit, and a poet laureate who closes the festivities.
