Canada’s Government is investing $950,188 in ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation to fund Family Literacy Day, Look Under LEARN, and other programs including our private sector champion’s initiatives that encourages Canadian businesses, groups and individuals to address adult and workplace literacy. The funds will also enable ABC CANADA to expand literacy and essential skills networks, promote active partnerships and create awareness of challenges people face because of low literacy and essential skills.

“Our Government is creating the best educated, most skilled, most flexible workforce in the world,” stated Senator Consiglio Di Nino. “This project will give Canadians more opportunities to upgrade their literacy and essential skills so they can build stronger futures for themselves and their families.”
