** TORONTO, ON** - Today, Tuesday, January 23, renowned Canadian children’s author Robert Munsch will make a special visit to the grades one and two students at Jane and Finch’s Lamberton Public School in Toronto, in celebration of Family Literacy Day. Munsch will tell a few of his popular stories—in classic Munsch style—and maybe even share a few new ones!

Family Literacy Day is the national program held every year by ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation, in celebration of parents and children reading and learning together on a regular basis. The actual day is January 27, and there are events taking place across Canada and throughout the week leading up to January 27.

Munsch’s visit to Lamberton Public School acknowledges the school’s ongoing commitment to literacy with special programs for students and the surrounding community.
